Jane Goodall
Jane Goodall's life work has revolved around the study, understanding and protection of animals, specifically chimps. She has helped many to understand the significance and importance of animals in our world, and works to educate many about the importance of saving animals and our environment. She educates children around the world about animals and the environment in her "Roots and Shoots" program. Ingrid Newkirk
Ingrid Newkirk is undoubtedly one of the hardest working and most successful animal rights activists. As president and one of the founders of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, she has worked hard and helped to achieve many victories for animals and continues to use every effort towards her ultimate goal to end animal suffering. Controversial as she may be, her methods have helped to change many things for animals and continues to do so.
